It is a short journey from Dhaka city to Golap Gram, a perfect picture perfect village located in Sadullapur, Birulia Union, Savar, Dhaka. This village is renowned for its sprawling rose gardens. This Village is also called the 'Village of Roses' which offers a serene escape from the city's hustle.

The Bengali name "Golap Gram" translates to "Rose Village". In the 1990s, a visionary from Mirpur initiated rose cultivation in this village. The favorable climate and fertile land led to widespread adoption among locals, transforming the village into a major flower-producing hub.

It is situated approximately 20 Km northwest of Dhaka. Golap Gram is accessible via:

- Birulia Bridge Route: From Uttara or Mirpur, one can take a local bus or CNG to Birulia Bridge. From there, shared autos or rickshaws which might take BDT 20–50 per person will lead directly to the village.

- Diabari Bot Tola Ghat Route: By this route, reach Diabari Ghat via local transport. From there, shallow engine driven boats which might charge BDT 25 per person can lead to Sadullapur. The boat service is available after every 30 minutes between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

While roses are the main attraction, Golap Gram also cultivates:

- Gerbera: Vibrant in pink, yellow, magenta, orange and red.

- Gladiolus: Known for their tall spikes and colorful blooms.

- Rosemary: Aromatic herb with needle-like leaves.

These flowers not only increase the beautify of the landscape but also support the livelihoods of local farmers.

The ideal period to experience Golap Gram's full bloom is during the winter months; from November to February. This season aligns with peak rose harvesting and festivals like Pahela Falgun and Valentine's Day, when flower demand surges high.
